I'm thankful that I inherited my mother's nostalgic heart. Without it, I doubt I would still own my first songwriting journal from age 11, a home video of my first church play, or the scrapbook of my countless childhood fashion designs. I treasure these items because they shaped me into the creative I am today. In May of 2020, I will graduate with my BFA in Musical Theatre from Anderson University. There I also harnessed a passion for costume design, dramaturgy became my guilty pleasure, and songwriting made me feel close to home when my heart was homesick for Georgia. I strive to share these passions with the world for the rest of my life.
My mission is to be an uplifting member of the creative community. I have found my home in the arts. I celebrate that home and invite you to glimpse into its red-curtained windows in my lifestyle blog Find Your Light, where I share a behind the scenes look at my projects as well as encourage others on their creative journey. I believe it takes a supportive and loving village to create theatre. If you're reading this and happen to need a reliable, imaginative worker in anything from teaching piano to belting onstage in a costume of my own design, let's connect! I could be a great addition to your project in pushing the arts community forward.
