How do I not write about it???
I know we ALL need a break from all the Covid-19 posts... But how do I write about anything other than a global pandemic we're all living through? How do I process the loss of many seniors "lasts", especially today after receiving news that graduation is postponed? Can I open my heart to you during these uncertain times?
I felt very called in December to start Find Your Light, a blog dedicated to sharing my lifestyle as a member of the arts community. I had no idea that perhaps God was prepping me for this new form of communication and processing. Sharing my journey however was not the only purpose and calling of the site. I want Find Your Light to be a source of joy and encouragement for spiritual artists and a place where community can be built. I create because He is the Creator. He is calling me to trust Him louder through the crazy and use Find Your Light as it was intentionally placed on my heart: to glorify Him.
With that said, I would like to dedicate some of this new found free time to begin transitioning Find Your Light to its full potential. One way I'd like to do that is by interviewing willing artists about their faith, artistic process, playlist suggestions, inspirations, and passions. If you'd be willing to spend some of your quarantine time answering some questions for me as a spotlight artist, let me know! Thank you to anyone reading/ who has read my previous blog posts. I had no idea when I started this how much an online community would mean to me so soon. We will get through this quarantine with plants, prayer, and sunshine. Please feel free to contact me for socialization and remember:
"Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God." -Romans 8:39
